Just a few pointers & tips about our sessions.

Some people book in with us just for fun, for some new photos and not necessarily for modelling updates. However, we specialise in photoshoots where the images will be used by your child's agency to submit to clients, giving them a clear representation & hopefully book the child for the job. 

If you require a specific shot please mention in advance, we can work around what you need. Capturing the best of your kids.
We offer two styles of photography, Our natural, relaxed 'Zara Vibe' captured using daylight with white/grey backdrop, Then our acting headshot style, lit using our all new kit and flash lighting. This is specified when choosing a package. Headshot packages only focus on head/shoulders and taken on a different more textured and pale blue background. Our Fine art package is specifically for headshots and is lovely close ups on a black backdrop.

Each session requires minimum of two changes in clothes, some more depending on which package you have chosen.
Client is required to provide all clothing, please also bring a spare outfit and a plain T-shirt (this can be coloured too) if you are using images to apply. However, agencies do prefer home snapshots UNTIL you are signed up, but if you really can't capture these at home do ask for images to apply.

 

For girls please consider hair styles for variation, starting with the hair down is the best option, then hair up for a few shots to get a few different looks. Please make sure no nail polish and freshly trimmed nails, no makeup or fake tattoos (these will not be removed in the retouching process). Naturally curly hair is best without product, clients love to see children in the most natural way, so they can style them to suit the brand if they are booked for the job.

 

If you need help choosing outfits please just ask! Modelling clothes-
Zara, Arket, Mango, h&m are all great choices. Anything quirky and abstract is cool too! Denim always looks really good with our style, dunagrees, jeans, double denim! Designer is also good, Burberry, Gucci etc You can leave tags on and return later. Try bring a good mix, dresses & jumpsuits are great for girls, feel free to bring a few outfits and we can decide on the day which will work best. Please try to avoid white, darker or pastel colours work better than really pale colours.
Headshot clothes- plain bold colours, denim is also really good, shirts/blouses. Don't worry about the bottom half this will not be in the shot.

Deposits are none refundable, However, if you need to cancel please give us chance to fill your slot, we understand things crop up and don't always go to plan. We will always try to reschedule. No shows will loose all monies paid. We reserve the right to move or change the session date should something come up out of our hands, all sessions and monies paid will be transferred to the new date, you will be notified of this change with prior notice.

Galleries can take up to 3 weeks to process, once we have lightly retouched the images (colour/crop/light) we then send you a link out via email to pick your favourite images, once you have done this press send to photographer, we can then send the final images out. Our retouching is very minimal in order to show your child in the most natural way.

 

Children do not need to be signed to an agent, please let me know if you are applying using our photos so we can ensure you get the plain headshots too. We work alongside all leading agencies, we also can point you in the right direction with applications.

 

The remaining balance will be due on the day of the photoshoot, we accept card, cash or bank transfer, which ever is easiest for you.

 

Please arrive 5/10 min before your time slot, drop us a message when you have arrive. 1 adult per child please, unless child is under 3 or sibling package. This is just to avoid too much distraction. If you are more than 20 minutes late, please note that this will cut into your own shoot time.

Sessions last around 30/45 minutes depending on your child is on the day. Sometimes we get the photos really quickly, sometimes it takes a little longer, all depends on the child and how quickly they adapt to the surroundings.
